For League of Legends this means seeing an interesting mix up of some teams rosters as they fight now for their countries as well as their teams. Below are a representation of some better known attending teams as outlined by the fine folks at Riot.

Representing the USA is Team Dignitas sporting the standard roster of Voyboy, Imaqtpie, L0CUST, Jatt, and Scarra.

For Canada you have a core of team CLG assisted by a former member and a member of TSM as HotshotGG, TheOddOne, Chaox, Elementz, and bigfatlp take on the world.

From China Invictus Gaming features MikakoTabe, Wh1t3zZ, illuSioN, ChrIs, and XiaoXiao.

The well known MYM represent spain with a team of xPeke, Araneae, Babeta, Exterminare, and heiN.

Team France, as they’ve chosen to be called, is comprised of former aAa and Millenium members Kujaa, Yellowstar, Linak, soAZ, and Tidus.

Calling themselves Chicks Dig Elo ReginaId, Dyrus, Xpecial, of TSM/Epik and the TSM gaming house add Chauster and Saintvicious of CLG to also represent the USA.

Extreme Dive Gaming from the host nation of Korea are represented by MakNooN, | Rush |, sxspp, mokuza, and SixTail.

And finally, ACER represents Germany with a roster of  Schabs, CitizenWayne, nRated, Faamy, and Yellowpete.

Qualifying out of Europe are Against All Authority, Absolute Legends, and Empire.

North America qualified Team SoloMid, Team Dignitas, and APictureOfAGoose.

From Asia iG has qualified.

And finally, White Lotus has qualified as the national champion of the host nation Ukraine.

Sadly all of this no longer matters as Blizzard released information about their plans for the next WoW expansion that dwarfs anything else they could possibly reveal these next two days.

What could this possible be you might ask?The new playable race for the next expansion IS…pandas…

After my initial wave of incredulous laughs I sat waiting for the ‘Gotcha, we’re not actually putting that into the game!’, but it never came. Later on Metzen confirmed that the pandas were not a joke and were officially going into the game.

So far there is no word about racials, but our guesses are as follows: ‘Eat Bamboo’, ‘Be Cute’, and ‘Whatever Pandas Do’. Has anyone ever actually seen a panda do anything other than sit around, eat bamboo, and be cute?
